Tegan Camden selected as our new Chief Operations Officer
I am pleased to announce that Tegan Camden has accepted the position of our Chief Operations Officer. Tegan’s experience will be a great addition to SummitStone’s executive leadership team, furthering our mission of providing unsurpassed community behavioral health services in Northern Colorado. Tegan has been with SummitStone for more than four years, joining our team as the Director of Children’s Services and Integrated Care in 2018. She was quickly promoted to serve as our Director of Outpatient Services.
- Tegan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has worked in behavioral health for more than 15 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in community counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
With Tegan’s extensive experience managing nonprofit clinical programs for more than a decade, she has provided leadership to numerous organizations and committees with a focus on improving mental health services for children and families. She is also a member of the Loveland Human Services Commission and a board member of the United Way of Larimer County. In 2021, Tegan was a recipient of the BizWest 40 Under Forty award for Northern Colorado, and she continues to steward the development of new and emerging leaders at SummitStone and throughout our community.
In her new position Tegan will oversee SummitStone’s Operational team including Compliance, Contract Management, Facilities, Information Systems and Technologies, Revenue Cycle Management and Administrative Operations. Please join me in welcoming Tegan as SummitStone Health Partner’s new Chief Operations Officer!
From Tegan: I am so pleased to be joining our executive leadership team as Chief Operating Officer, and I feel honored to be stepping into the role that Jess Russell has successfully led in her tenure. In my previous roles at SummitStone, I have worked to connect our systems, to empower our staff, to grow our leaders and to implement innovative approaches to complex issues. I aim to have the same impact for our operations teams as we continue our agency growth in the coming years, and I’m excited to work alongside the tremendous talent we have in operations.
If you have questions, suggestions or comments on our efforts, please let me know at michael.allen@summitstonehealth.org. I’d love to hear from you!
Yours in good health,
Michael G. Allen, MBA, LCSW, CAS
Please join us for our annual fundraiser with curated mocktails, appetizers and live music!
This year is like no other, so we are switching things up for our annual fundraiser. Rather than our usual breakfast event, we are hosting a celebration for our 65 years of excellence in community behavioral health on Wednesday, October 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites in Loveland.
Donations will go toward our efforts in Health Equity–particularly to provide services to our clients who have no resources to pay for their care, for example, no Medicaid coverage, no other insurance, and no ability to pay out-of-pocket or self-pay. We would be honored to have you join us.
The event is free to attend, but registration is required by Oct. 10.
