SummitStone selected to provide services for the County Behavioral Health Initiative

Through a competitive process, SummitStone Health Partners, in a collaboration with UCHealth, was approved by the Board of Larimer County Commissioners at their regular Administrative Matters meeting today to provide a continuum of behavioral health treatment and crisis services at the new facility.

Long recognized for their experience, SummitStone has been providing exceptional behavioral health, prevention, intervention, and treatment services in the Northern Colorado region for over 60 years.

SummitStone provides more than 50 different services to over 10,000 people per year, is dedicated to treating mental health and addiction treatment services for people of all ages.

The new facility will offer six levels of service, including medical triage thorough assessment by professionals experienced in mental illness, and substance disorder diagnoses.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to expand behavioral health services in our community,” said SummitStone CEO Michael Allen. “We look forward to collaborating with the county and UCHealth to provide these services in an innovative way. We can’t wait to get started coordinating and collaborating with a wide range of community partners and stakeholders to help close gaps in behavioral healthcare here in Larimer County.”
